SoftLabs began as a family business, built on trust, relationships and doing the work properly. Over time, it has been passed down and reshaped, evolving into a proudly Australian-owned, female-led technology partner.
Establishing the Foundation
Founded as AJS Computing in August 1991, the company secured its first dealer agreement with Scala Australia, marking its entry into enterprise software solutions.
From Vision to Incorporated Entity
AJS Computing Services Pty Ltd was incorporated and began delivering Scala implementations across hospitality and aged care sectors.
Reducing Risk, Expanding Capability
The company moved beyond a single-product strategy by partnering with multiple software vendors and launching IT consulting and training services.
Building a Scalable Global Delivery Model
SoftLabs expanded into New Zealand and India, introduced software testing services, strengthened ERP delivery, and diversified into media solutions.
Becoming a Full Spectrum Digital Partner
The company entered government digital services, expanded ERP capabilities, rebranded as SoftLabs ANZ, launched cybersecurity, CRM, and software development services, and achieved ISO certifications.
Future Ready, Globally Connected
SoftLabs strengthened its assurance credentials, formed strategic global partnerships, migrated GrapeERP to the cloud, and established fully operational offices in New Zealand.
